| Bullet point the services you offer your clients: | |
| VP Services | - Moderation - Account planning (strategy) - Social listening, insights - Social media and digital creative - Media - Software (proprietary moderation platform) |
| What percent of new revenue comes from the following sources: | |
| VP Services | 0 - 5% |
| Expanding on your answer above, how has most revenue growth come in? | |
| VP Services | Most revenue growth comes from winning new clients. We do win new revenue with current clients but, historically, this has been matched by losing clients and/or losing business with existing clients (e.g. clients turning off comments on their paid ads). The challenge with current clients has been to grow our business outside of our core moderation business into other areas such as strategy and creative. Often we are considered the moderation experts and have all that work but are not considered for other types of business where there are other specialist agencies and/or agencies of record already in place. |
| If any, how do you see these sources of revenue growth changing in the coming year? Include Expected Revenue Change: | |
| VP Services | 0 - 5% |
| What strategic resources does the agency make available to your teams? For example, do you have any proprietary strategy, research, data, tools, or services you subscribe to? | |
| VP Services | Brandwatch for social listening (not proprietary). Developing LiveInsight AI-driven insight platform Social media software platforms for moderation and moderation management |
| When you step back and think about new business, how does the agency need to improve? For example, are there stages in the pitch process where your teams experience particular challenges (whether internal or external)? | |
| VP Services | The main issue has been getting enough pitching opportunities. Our conversion rate has been pretty good. It takes a lot of time to put pitches together so there may be opportunities to improve efficiency. Pitches also put a strain on key resources (e.g. the creative director) so we need to work out how to better spread the load. |
| What AI tools are currently approved for use for client work and new business (in particular, LLMs)? | |
| VP Services | - LLMs are being used for research. - We have also developed a suite of AI products to assess AI brand reputation (Snapshot, Report, Top 50 Index) and our media team has developed services to help companies navigate the new world of AI search and to redirect marketing $ |
| Is there anything else that would provide insight into your new business goals, opportunities or challenges? | |
| VP Services | Moderation is our core business but it has become commoditized and AI-automated. It still has relevance in pharma because of the rules around compliance which require a higher-level of skilled (human) work. On the creative side, our work is good but dependent on a small team so difficult to scale. LiveInsight offers potential but we don't currently have a large proprietary dataset to tap into which I think is critical. |
